Diego Henriquez is originally from El Salvador, and moved to the United States nearly eight years ago. He is currently a student at Wesleyan University, double majoring in Economics and Latin American Studies. He decided to join our team because, when he was applying for legal status in the U.S. many years ago, he did not have an interpreter for the first few years of the process. Having undergone a transformative journey, both geographically and mentally, he is now motivated to contribute to his community by fulfilling the role of interpreter and translator, with the sole goal of providing the support that he once lacked, and ensuring that other immigrants' stories are heard.
